My debut book, In Search of Giants: The Quest to Find the Genetic Giants of Northern Ireland, blends groundbreaking genetic research with Irish folklore and personal storytelling to illuminate the lives of those affected by the rare condition of gigantism. I am the first person in the United States found with the Northern Ireland genetic mutation that caused my gigantism, and I tell my story as well as the stories of others affected by this genetic mutation.
